An alliance of Egyptian and Gulf real estate developers has launched the “Cairo City Gate” project — a next-generation integrated commercial and entertainment complex built on an area exceeding one hundred thousand square meters in the heart of Fifth Settlement in East Cairo, with total investments surpassing one billion Egyptian pounds.

The detailed masterplan revealed an architectural design inspired by authentic Arab architectural elements combined with an innovative use of modern technologies. The complex comprises five floors housing more than three hundred stores from leading local and international brands, alongside a food and entertainment section featuring global restaurants and cinemas with ultra-high-definition technology.

The chairman of the board of the developing company noted that the project also targets the creation of more than five thousand direct and indirect job opportunities, confirming that its anticipated opening in the first quarter of 2028 will bring about a fundamental transformation in Cairo’s shopping and entertainment environment and raise the quality of commercial offerings in the area.

This project is part of a massive wave of real estate and commercial investments sweeping Greater Cairo, driven by rapid demographic growth, an expanding middle class, and increasing demand for modern retail spaces meeting international standards.
